DF64 Gen 2 Warranty: Coverage & How to Get

Updated September 9, 2026.

The DF64 Gen 2 includes a one-year Espresso Outlet warranty for qualifying purchases. It covers manufacturer defects under the applicable terms; it is not a blanket guarantee against wear, clogs, damage or misuse. Your seller, purchase date and use of the grinder matter when arranging service.

What the warranty covers

Our warranty terms describe parts and labor coverage for home equipment with defects in materials or workmanship. Labor must be performed by Espresso Outlet or a previously authorized service location. Coverage is non-transferable and requires proof of purchase. The stated start date is the purchase date for in-stock equipment and receipt date for preorders.

Shipping and exclusions

The policy covers qualifying warranty shipping during the first 30 days after purchase, subject to its conditions, including retaining original packaging. After that, the customer is responsible for service shipping. Keep the grinder’s protective packaging and obtain return instructions before sending anything. Normal maintenance, preventable blockages and damage from misuse are not manufacturing defects. Commercial use of home equipment is excluded.

How to request help

Use our contact and support page with your order number, purchase date, grinder model and a clear description of the symptom. Include the burr set, approximate dose, roast level, grind setting and any recent cleaning or modifications. A short video of the normal operating symptom can help; do not keep running a stalled or damaged grinder just to record it.

  1. Check the correct voltage, outlet and normal setup described in your manual.
  2. Explain what happens: no power, motor running without output, unusual noise, static or inconsistent grinding.
  3. Wait for the support team’s troubleshooting or shipping instructions before disassembly, repairs or return shipment.
  4. Keep the order record and service correspondence together.

What to expect from support

A response or repair time cannot be guaranteed from this article. Diagnosis, parts availability and shipping affect turnaround. If the grinder came from another seller, contact that seller first and confirm who administers its warranty. Do not assume every DF64 seller has the same support arrangements. Any optional extended coverage must be confirmed against the plan actually purchased; the standard product warranty remains one year.
