Love the DF64 Gen2. I also have the DF54 which is also very nice.
This grinder is very high quality.
Great grinder so far!. The bellow really helps with retention. In my experience the manufacturer recommended grind setting for espresso is a bit too fine for my machine (Gaggia Classic Pro). I ended up somewhere between the 5-6 setting.
Machine works great! Love it!
Excellent product. I was skeptical about the difference a grinder makes in espresso, but now I’m a believer. I set the dial to 15 for delicious espresso.
Product was packaged well and shipped quickly. I am hooked after 5 roasts. Already better than store or farmers market roasts at $6.50/pound. I kind of wish I went for the larger M6 since I will need to do 2-3 roasts a week, but I honestly enjoy it so far. I had no prior roasting experience. YouTube isvery helpful.
I just want to say off the start you guys are amazing my first order came damaged you guys responded to my email and pictures the very next day and had a new one being sent out to me which arrived today July 23 and was as far as I'm concerned and pristine condition excellent condition there is no damage whatsoever I could see with this one and it looks amazing and works better than I honestly expected for my first e61 style heat exchange machine.
Its a great value for a grinder, and one that might be in the top tier as a travel grinder. The one easily correctable issue is the pint glass looking cup that comes with it. It really needs to be paired with a true dosing cup, but to do that you need a "highchair" for the dosing cup. If you have a 3D printer I've got one loaded on printables at https://www.printables.com/model/1363325-turin-dm47-coffee-grinder-highchair-shaker-stand that should fit a few (one linked for $11.xx that works well) dosing cups.
