How Cunill names its grinders
“Tron” identifies the on-demand electronic version of a family. ABS and Inox identify body construction; they do not necessarily mean a different grinding platform. Luxomatic is the electronic counterpart to Luxo. Cunill’s sound figures—63, 55 or 45 dB—are manufacturer claims tied to particular Silencer designs; room acoustics and test method affect measured sound.
Tranquilo II as a size reference
Iberital’s current listing for Tranquilo II specifies 60 mm burrs, a 270 W motor, 1,300 rpm at 50 Hz, a 0.5 kg hopper, a 300 g doser and 6 kg net weight. Those figures should not be copied across Brasil, Tauro, Luxo or Iconic, which use different chassis and capacities.
