Elektra history
Elektra was founded in Italy in 1947 and built its reputation on decorative and professional espresso machines. Its older grinders followed the same split: the polished MS/MSC family complemented home lever machines, while MX variants and Nino served commercial bars. Elektra is now part of VEA Group, and the current K-series is more conventional in appearance and naming.

All six official pages reviewed specify 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz. A North American buyer should obtain a documented 120 V version from an authorized distributor or choose another grinder; a plug adapter is not a voltage converter.
How the model names work
KGM models use a traditional doser chamber. KGE 58 is the simpler direct-grinding 58 mm model. KGD 58 Touch and KGD 65 Touch add the touch interface and larger 1.2 kg hoppers. KGD Mini is a separate compact design with 50 mm burrs, a 250 g hopper and brass or chrome finishes.
Choosing among the six
KGD Mini fits lower-volume environments where size and the classic Elektra finish matter. KGE 58 is the straightforward on-demand commercial choice. KGD 58 Touch adds a modern interface without moving to a larger burr set. KGD 65 Touch is better suited to higher espresso volume. KGM 58 and KGM 65 make sense only for bars that prefer the rhythm of a doser and move grounds quickly.
Legacy Elektra grinders
Documented older families include MS and MSC home doser grinders; compact MSD/MSDC/MSDO on-demand models; commercial MX, MXA, MXP, MXPC, MXS, MXV, MXC, MXO and MXR variants; and the 68 mm conical Nino/Nino MK. These names are useful for parts searches, but a used listing must be checked by rating plate because finish codes, voltage and dosing controls differ.
