GVH-1, GVH-2 and GVH-3
The GVH family is BUNN’s modern retail bulk line. A 340-degree no-click dial covers a wide grind range, and the bag clamp accepts bags, cans, funnels and cups. BUNN says the platform can grind a pound in about 30 seconds. The number identifies the nominal hopper format: one, two or three pounds.
The U.S. 120 V versions are rated at 1,320 W. International 220–240 V configurations have different wattage and amperage, and BUNN also lists Turkish-burr variants for specific models and regions. A buyer must order by product number, not only by the GVH family name.
G1, G2 and G3 HD
These are traditional heavy-duty bulk grinders. G1, G2 and G3 correspond to one-, two- and three-pound capacities. The black and red G3 listings share the same core model; color does not make a different grinder. They are suitable for grinding into retail bags or brew equipment, not for timed espresso doses.
MHG, FPG and G9 families
MHG stores multiple removable hoppers, allowing an operation to change coffees without emptying a fixed hopper. FPG-2 DBC is specifically listed as a French Press Coffee Grinder. In BUNN terminology, DBC means Digital Brewer Control and is used to coordinate programmed portions with compatible brewing workflows.
G9-2T models use two hoppers; G9T uses one. The “T” identifies the tall configuration. DBC and HD are not cosmetic suffixes: they distinguish digital recipe control from the heavy-duty portion-control format. Confirm the intended brewer, funnel height and product number before ordering.
LPG and LPG2E
LPG is the single-hopper low-profile model; LPG2E has two hoppers. They are designed for measured batch-brew portions where a taller G9 configuration does not fit. They do not replace a retail GVH or an espresso grinder.
