Keep the recipe stable while comparing
Use the same weighed dose, water and brewer as your regular coffee for the first Half-Caff batch. For automatic drip, 30 grams of coffee to 480 grams of filtered water is a practical 1:16 starting ratio. This keeps the comparison focused on the blend rather than on a simultaneous change in beverage strength.

For French press, use 30 grams to 500 grams of water with a medium-coarse grind. Steep about four minutes, let the grounds settle and decant. For pour-over, use 20 grams to 320 grams and track drawdown while judging body, clarity and finish.
Whole-bean customers can use the Turin DF54 grinder for controlled grind changes. A prepared Ground option is convenient for appropriate drip machines, while Coarse is the better starting point for immersion. No pre-ground format can be optimal for every brewer.
