DF64 Gen 2 Dimensions

The current DF64 Gen 2.7 is listed at approximately 5.2 inches wide, 10 inches deep and 12 inches high, with a weight of about 15 pounds. Those dimensions make it manageable on many home counters, but the space needed to use it is greater than its bare footprint.

Measure the working space
Use a tape measure where the grinder will actually stand, including the underside of cabinets or shelves. Leave room above the hopper to lift the lid and pour beans without striking the cabinet. At the front, place your scale and portafilter where you would use them. A machine can fit under a cupboard yet be awkward to fill every morning.
Plan the espresso workflow
Keep the grinder close enough to the espresso machine that transferring grounds is comfortable, while leaving a dry area away from the steam wand and water spills. Make sure the cup can be removed without moving the grinder. Leave the cable free from pinching and avoid blocking openings. A mat may help protect the counter, provided the grinder remains stable.
Compare genuinely smaller options
The DF54 is listed at roughly 4.5 inches wide by 7 inches deep by 12 inches high. It saves depth as well as width, which may matter on a shallow counter. The SK40 is narrower at approximately 3.75 inches wide, but its hopper and bellows arrangement reaches about 14 inches high. A narrower grinder is not necessarily the better choice beneath low cabinets.
Check the version and accessories
DF64 dosing cups, supports and top components have changed during production. Confirm the assembled dimensions and included parts on the listing for the exact unit you intend to buy, especially when comparing an older used grinder with a current one. Do not use shipping-carton dimensions for kitchen planning.
