Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

Fantastic grinder

I went from a DF64 gen 1 V2, and this has every upgrade I could want. Much more clean, retention went from 10% to 0.5% grinds much quicker, quieter, with a larger normalized distribution of grind size. I am using DLC espresso burrs. I have not compared them to others on a DF83v, but I am very happy with their performance so far. And feel no need to upgrade to anything else.

The one I've been waiting for

The open box deal came just as new. No longer do I have to grind manually from espresso. It's a fast and versatile grinder, easy to clean, not too loud, not too big and it combines with the black and wood of my bar. Try hot starting it always. You can get better results slow feeding the beans though try to feed them at the same rate if you want consistent results. This will also help with jamming which may happen if you drop in all the beans at once. You can also change the rpm or grind coarser if you don't wanna slow feed. That's what I mean by versatile 😁

The Grinder is great and so is Espresso Outlet

I got the open box grinder and it got shipped very quickly. The motor stopped working and espresso outlet sent out a new board for me to replace and the grinder has been working perfectly ever since. They went above and beyond because they didn't have to send a new board and I really appreciated it.

I recommend to my friends and anyone really to check and buy from Espresso Outlet first if they have what they need.

You really can't complain at this price! Yes, it's made of plastic, but it gets the job done for grinding beans. Zeroing the grinder is a bit tricky and it's not the easiest to adjust. However, I've been using it for a month now and I'm quite satisfied overall.

Great Roaster Smooth coffee

I bought this roaster to launch my micro roastery. Its amazing, i roast some truly amazing coffee with my kaliedo. I am able to roast all night on it most night i am roasting anywhere from 10-20 batches non stop. The only issue i have had is cooling fans breaking on me i have had to replace 2 cooling fans. But given how much i roast i can not complain, its a work horse and i love it. The best part is the customer service. I will 100 precent be buying my next roaster here because of the customer service. They go above and beyond to help and solve any issues you may have. Lastly i like how easy it is work on and maintain the kalideo. The spare parts are affordable and its easy to replace parts that break. if you need a good entry roaster look no further

Package arrived well protected without damage.

I had a thermoblock Breville Bambino before. After ~6yrs using it I could make good cortado but it was inconsistent.

This machine produces quality results every time. The steam is powerful. The extraction is great. Consistent, high temps. We get comments on how nice it looks.

For negatives, the included manual is sparse, especially for maintenance. I’ve found some videos online but many are in Korean so we’re still figuring that out. We drink primarily medium/dark roast. I’ve made light roast with it. It came out ok, but don’t know if I’d suggest it for that.

We were deciding among this, a Quick Mill Pop-Up, or a Profitec Go
