Several hillside producers contribute to Olympia’s San Sebastián Reserva, rather than one estate supplying the entire coffee. The project centers on San Sebastián de La Plata in Colombia’s Huila region, where selected lots are combined after cupping. Olympia’s current sensory description highlights stone fruit, tangerine and sugar cane, giving this regional selection a fruit-led identity.

Look for citrus sweetness as the cup cools

For a first pour-over, measure 18 g coffee and 305 g water. Smell the cup after brewing and return to it as the temperature drops, comparing tangerine-like brightness with the softer stone-fruit reference. A sugar-cane note describes perceived flavor; adding sweetener immediately would make that element more difficult to assess.

The supplier describes manual pulping, fermentation lasting up to 24 hours, washing and drying on covered raised beds. Those details establish its washed preparation without dictating one home recipe. If your first brew seems sharp, keep the serving ratio steady while making a small extraction adjustment for the next cup.

Does Reserva mean this is a single-farm lot?

No. Olympia describes a selection assembled from several producers in the same project. Reserva is part of the product name, not evidence of one estate or a separately defined bean grade. The origin relationship is specific, while a new harvest date and exact roast level are not supplied here.

Great Roaster Smooth coffee

I bought this roaster to launch my micro roastery. Its amazing, i roast some truly amazing coffee with my kaliedo. I am able to roast all night on it most night i am roasting anywhere from 10-20 batches non stop. The only issue i have had is cooling fans breaking on me i have had to replace 2 cooling fans. But given how much i roast i can not complain, its a work horse and i love it. The best part is the customer service. I will 100 precent be buying my next roaster here because of the customer service. They go above and beyond to help and solve any issues you may have. Lastly i like how easy it is work on and maintain the kalideo. The spare parts are affordable and its easy to replace parts that break. if you need a good entry roaster look no further
