A blend developed around espresso
Bendix Espresso is a medium-dark coffee developed specifically for espresso. Bendix says its staff tested and adjusted shots during development, making the intended brewing method the central product detail. It is available whole bean, regular ground or espresso/fine ground.
The component origins, proportions, cultivars, elevations, processing methods and tasting notes are not published. Those details are not guessed from the medium-dark roast or espresso designation. Espresso describes preparation and recipe intent rather than a bean species or agricultural origin.
Choose whole bean for the greatest control. Espresso flow depends on basket geometry, dose, roast age and machine, so a fixed espresso/fine grind cannot be guaranteed to suit every setup. Regular Ground is a distinct option intended for less demanding brew methods.

Dial in by dose, yield and taste
If your basket is designed for an 18-gram dose, start with 18 grams in and about 36 grams of beverage yield. Treat 25–30 seconds as an initial observation rather than a rigid rule. Taste the shot, then make a small grind change while holding dose and yield steady.
A fast, hollow or sharply sour shot often benefits from a finer grind. A slow, drying shot may need a coarser setting. Medium-dark coffee can be relatively soluble, so a lower brew temperature or shorter ratio may improve a harsh finish. Record dose, yield, time and temperature to make the next adjustment meaningful.
For milk drinks, taste the espresso straight before adding milk. A recipe balanced as a standalone shot may need a slightly shorter ratio or higher dose to remain distinct in a latte, but do not exceed the basket’s practical capacity.
The Turin DF64 Gen 2 grinder and Turin Legato espresso machine form a contextual grinder-and-machine pairing for home dialing. Equipment control improves repeatability, but it does not replace sensory evaluation or make one recipe correct for every coffee age.
Ground choices, filter brewing and storage
Espresso/Fine Ground offers convenience when its particle size happens to suit your basket. Regular Ground is not interchangeable with it. For drip brewing, start with 30 grams of regular-ground coffee to 480 grams of water; this blend can be used beyond espresso even though espresso is the stated focus.
Choose 12 ounces for dialing a new setup, one pound for steady home use or five pounds for higher-volume service. Whole beans change as they degas, so small grind adjustments may be needed during the life of the bag. Store sealed away from heat and moisture.

Frequently asked questions
Is this coffee only for espresso?
Espresso is the design focus, but Regular Ground or appropriately ground whole beans can be brewed by other methods.
Will Espresso/Fine Ground fit every machine?
No. Basket design and coffee age affect flow, so whole bean offers more reliable dialing control.
Which origins are in the blend?
Bendix does not publish the component origins or proportions.
What are the tasting notes?
No specific sensory-note list is supplied, so none has been invented.
What roast level is used?
Bendix identifies the blend as medium-dark.
Which size should I try first?
A 12-ounce bag is practical for dialing before committing to one pound or five pounds.
