An everyday blend with a lighter feel
This is a practical starting point for someone who wants chocolate character without the heavier body of a darker roast. The fruit and citrus hints add contrast rather than replacing the blend’s core profile. Compare it with the roaster’s darker Wake Me UP if you are deciding between a balanced medium roast and a more substantial morning cup.
Brewing guidance
For automatic drip, weigh enough coffee for the actual water volume your brewer uses. Avoid relying on the machine’s cup markings as a universal serving size. If you prefer a little more body, increase the coffee dose slightly while keeping the grind and water volume consistent.
For whole-bean preparation, explore Turin coffee grinders and choose a model that supports your brew method.

A measured starting recipe
For a filter-brew starting point, measure 20 g coffee and 320 g water, a 1:16 brew ratio by mass. Use a grind appropriate for your filter and keep the bed evenly saturated. If the cup is balanced but weak, increase the coffee dose slightly; if it is sour or dry, adjust extraction through grind size before changing several variables at once.
More preparation and product questions
Where does this coffee come from?
Brazil and Guatemala.
What roast profile is listed?
Medium.
What cup or flavor profile is described?
Chocolate, fruit and citrus.
Which formats are listed?
16 oz. Check the current selection menu for the available combinations.
How do I adjust strength without losing balance?
Change the coffee-to-water ratio when the flavor is balanced but the cup is too weak or concentrated. Use grind adjustments when the problem is extraction, keeping dose and water quantity constant for comparison.
Should I judge the coffee only while piping hot?
Taste again as the cup cools toward a comfortable drinking temperature. Sweetness, acidity, body and finish may become easier to distinguish before you decide how to adjust the next brew.
