Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

An Exceptional Kettle

I have been using my Fellow Stag for quite awhile AND, with this in mind in comparison to my pour-overs, French press and filtered loose teas (w/in a strainer basket). this Turin Kettle does everything that the more expensive Fellow kettle can accomplish for my tea and coffee purposes… its spout design and given flow is really consistent and its temperature control is spot-on… I truly would recommend this product.

Love My Kettle

It makes my Chemex more precise. Using the Turin Electric Pour Over Gooseneck Kettle allows me to have more control of the pouring as well as more control of the water temperature for not only coffee but the various types of tea I drink. Easy to operate and I love the smaller size of this kettle.

The on/off system is a bit strange. Have to unplug between uses (according to the manual.) Not the fastest kettle I have but works well. No regrets.
