The Eureka Mignon Libra 65 AP distinguishes itself through its enhanced burr architecture. The 65mm flat burrs represent a substantial upgrade from the previous 55mm design. To easily switch between coarse and fine grind sizes, Eureka totally redesigned the grind adjustment knob. It’s larger now, and features a range from 0–20 (rather than 0–9). They also added a rotation counter which ticks up as you adjust coarser and down as you adjust finer. This helps you keep track of a variety of grind sizes, and takes much of the guesswork out of dialing back in after switching between different brew methods.
As with the original, the Libra 65 AP is a weight-based grinder. This is a much more precise method of grind dosing than timing your grind cycles, and the definitive choice of expert baristas and coffee aficionados around the world. Like all Mignon grinders, the Libra 65 AP is built in Italy with commercial-grade components and features Eureka’s namesake efficiency features, including Silent-Grind technology and the ACE anti-static system.
