These espresso burrs are the perfect way to upgrade your DF83.  Offering precision grinding for both espresso and drip.

The red titanium coated espresso burrs have a geometry intended to excel at producing espresso.  This style of burr tends to work better for medium to dark roasted coffees, but we also find they work fantastic for lighter roasts as well.  These burrs are designed to produce a high uniformity coffee ground, allowing the espresso extraction to have high body (viscosity) while also producing a balanced amount of clarity.

While these burrs are marketed as "espresso" burrs, they also produce a quality pour over extraction.  

They are designed for the Turin DF83 Turin DF83V, Mazzer Major, and many other 83mm "Mazzer" hole pattern grinders.

Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

True value for the money

I use it only for espresso and it’s performed flawlessly, it throws to within, .3g 15g in 14.7out is the the greatest difference I’ve ever found generally it’s within .1 or right on. A silver colored cup would be better than the black so that you can see how much coffee is still stuck inside after after transporting into the Portafilter transferring into the Portafilter.
I would definitely recommend it to my friends:)

Great Machine - Blasts through Milk drinks

Built like a tank. Looks to have been built by the Soviet space program to withstand a missile. I've had it for a week and the steaming performance really stands out. For pure espresso, I find it a little finicky, but slowly dialing it in.

Always Hype when someone has something to sell - that makes me very hesitant to buy anything over the net. BUT - So far (2 weeks) all works much better than I thought it might. I followed directions exactly - now have it set on "50" and get great coffee over my old Breville grinder. Wife won't let me give it away yet tho!!!

Grinder is easy to dial in for espresso. Also was able to swap to grind size for pour over and drip easily. Adjusted back to espresso setting and pulled a shot with no issues. Have been using it as single doser but timer works and is easily programmable.
