Kiambu-grown SL28 provides the identity of BoJo Kenya AA Plus. The washed Kenyan coffee is offered in three roast levels, with separate tasting descriptions for light and medium. Choose light for the supplier’s floral, tropical-fruit direction and lighter body, or medium for its baker’s-chocolate, blueberry and floral-finish references.

Compare roast choices with one steady filter recipe

Make a first pour-over with 18 g coffee and 300 g water, noting which roast you selected. Let the drink cool slightly before comparing aroma, body and finish. The light roast’s tea-like texture can be part of its appeal, so do not immediately increase the dose to make it feel heavier.

When testing another roast, retain the same coffee and water weights and change grind only as needed for extraction. A consistent serving temperature also helps. This produces a clearer comparison than changing the roast, brewer and ratio at the same time.

The store does list dark-roast variants. The supplier has not completed a separate dark-roast tasting description, so no new dark-roast flavor list is invented here. Select the actual roast option you want; the unfinished tasting note does not remove that option.

You really can't complain at this price! Yes, it's made of plastic, but it gets the job done for grinding beans. Zeroing the grinder is a bit tricky and it's not the easiest to adjust. However, I've been using it for a month now and I'm quite satisfied overall.

Great Roaster Smooth coffee

I bought this roaster to launch my micro roastery. Its amazing, i roast some truly amazing coffee with my kaliedo. I am able to roast all night on it most night i am roasting anywhere from 10-20 batches non stop. The only issue i have had is cooling fans breaking on me i have had to replace 2 cooling fans. But given how much i roast i can not complain, its a work horse and i love it. The best part is the customer service. I will 100 precent be buying my next roaster here because of the customer service. They go above and beyond to help and solve any issues you may have. Lastly i like how easy it is work on and maintain the kalideo. The spare parts are affordable and its easy to replace parts that break. if you need a good entry roaster look no further
