This Black Insomnia bundle pairs one pound of Classic Roast with one pound of Dark Roast. The current variants are ground or whole bean, giving shoppers a direct way to compare two roast styles in the same preparation.

About this coffee

The supplier describes slow small-batch drum roasting and a full-bodied style. The older text also mentioned Nespresso pods, but no pod variant appears in the current selector. The bundle is marketed as high caffeine; it is not a low-caffeine tasting set.

Preparation and selection

Use the package’s serving guidance and prepare the two roasts separately at consistent dose and water settings. Taste at similar temperatures to judge roast preference fairly. If you choose whole bean, record each grind adjustment rather than assuming the two roasts extract identically.

The current choices are Ground and Whole Bean. The bagged bundle contains the two named pound bags; the old pod reference is not an available variant here.

Great Roaster Smooth coffee

I bought this roaster to launch my micro roastery. Its amazing, i roast some truly amazing coffee with my kaliedo. I am able to roast all night on it most night i am roasting anywhere from 10-20 batches non stop. The only issue i have had is cooling fans breaking on me i have had to replace 2 cooling fans. But given how much i roast i can not complain, its a work horse and i love it. The best part is the customer service. I will 100 precent be buying my next roaster here because of the customer service. They go above and beyond to help and solve any issues you may have. Lastly i like how easy it is work on and maintain the kalideo. The spare parts are affordable and its easy to replace parts that break. if you need a good entry roaster look no further
