Choose the roast as well as the origin
This listing offers three roast levels. The description represents the roaster’s overall profile, so a dark-roast bag should not be expected to taste identical to a light-roast bag. Medium is a useful place to start when you want to explore the balance of cocoa, sweetness and softer fruit before comparing the other options.
Brewing guidance
Choose whole bean if you want to adjust grind for different brewers. For the ground option, confirm that the grind suits your brewing method. The selector does not identify separate espresso, filter or French-press grind sizes.
For whole-bean preparation, explore Turin coffee grinders and choose a model that supports your brew method.

A measured starting recipe
For a filter-brew starting point, measure 20 g coffee and 320 g water, a 1:16 brew ratio by mass. Use a grind appropriate for your filter and keep the bed evenly saturated. If the cup is balanced but weak, increase the coffee dose slightly; if it is sour or dry, adjust extraction through grind size before changing several variables at once.
More preparation and product questions
Where does this coffee come from?
Ethiopia.
What roast profile is listed?
Medium.
What cup or flavor profile is described?
Cocoa, walnut, toffee, subtle fruit, herbs and vanilla.
How do I adjust strength without losing balance?
Change the coffee-to-water ratio when the flavor is balanced but the cup is too weak or concentrated. Use grind adjustments when the problem is extraction, keeping dose and water quantity constant for comparison.
Should I judge the coffee only while piping hot?
Taste again as the cup cools toward a comfortable drinking temperature. Sweetness, acidity, body and finish may become easier to distinguish before you decide how to adjust the next brew.
How should I store the coffee?
Keep it sealed away from heat, light and moisture. Grind whole beans shortly before brewing; keep ground coffee tightly closed between uses to limit exposure to air.
