The E61 Precision Shower Screen is a crucial component for E61 group machines. Its design ensures an evenly distributed water flow, resulting in improved extractions, reduced channeling, and a fuller, rounder flavor profile in every cup. These screens are a necessary addition for any espresso machine.

Coated vs. Non-Coated

The E61 Precision Shower Screen features a nanotech coating that efficiently eliminates coffee oil and residue buildup, simplifying the cleaning process. However, with use over time, this protective coating will eventually break down during back flushing. To ensure optimum performance, we recommend replacing the coated screen with a standard one when conducting routine maintenance.

Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.
