Three origins in a medium-roast blend
Bendix Dolce combines coffees from Ethiopia, Brazil and Costa Rica at a medium roast. The named origins are the blend's documented foundation. Bendix does not publish a fixed tasting-note list, so this page does not automatically assign floral fruit to Ethiopia, nuts to Brazil or citrus to Costa Rica as if those expectations were verified facts about these components.
The blend proportions, component regions, farms, producers, cultivars, elevations and post-harvest processes are not supplied. Dolce is also not described as an added-flavor coffee. Its name should therefore be understood as the roaster's blend name rather than evidence of added sugar or a particular sweetener.
Whole-bean, Ground and Coarse formats are available in 12-ounce, one-pound and five-pound bags. Whole bean gives the greatest flexibility across brewers, while the prepared options suit customers who value convenience and already know which particle range matches their method.

Use a familiar brewer as the reference
Begin with the brewing method you know best. For automatic drip, use 30 grams of coffee and 480 grams of filtered water. For pour-over, start with 20 grams to 320 grams. Both are 1:16 brew ratios that create a consistent baseline without pretending to be a Bendix-mandated recipe.
Taste sweetness, acidity, body, clarity and finish after the cup cools slightly. If it is thin and sour, grind finer. If it becomes dry or harsh, move coarser or reduce agitation. Hold dose and water steady while making the first adjustment; changing several variables at once obscures what improved extraction.
For French press, use 30 grams to 500 grams of water with a medium-coarse grind, steep four minutes and decant after settling. Paper and metal filtration will present the blend differently: paper can emphasize clarity, while press brewing retains more texture.
Whole-bean buyers can use the Turin DF54 grinder for repeatable filter and immersion changes. The Turin DF64 Gen 2 grinder provides a wider espresso-oriented adjustment range, though Bendix does not publish an espresso recipe for Dolce. Start with a basket-appropriate dose and weigh beverage yield when testing it as espresso.
Size, storage and origin comparisons
Choose 12 ounces for an initial evaluation, one pound for regular use or five pounds when turnover is high. Divide a bulk purchase into smaller airtight portions. Repeatedly opening the full bag exposes all of the coffee to oxygen and moisture.
Store away from heat, sunlight and humidity. Degassing after roasting can change bloom and espresso flow, so use the roast date if supplied and expect small grind adjustments during the life of the bag. Keep water composition stable when comparing recipes, because a large mineral change can alter perceived acidity, sweetness and finish even when the dose stays identical.
To explore one named component country separately, compare Bendix Brazil Bravo or Bendix Costa Rica Tarrazu. Brew the comparison coffee with the same water, dose and filtration method. Browse the Specialty Coffee collection for other blends and single origins.
