Fruit intensity with a cocoa base
The carbonic-natural processing is a central part of this selection’s identity. Its pineapple and plum descriptors point toward fruit-led sweetness, while the dark-chocolate note gives a different reference from a purely floral Ethiopian profile. The 3/5 scale describes Fractured’s intended fermentation character rather than the coffee’s quality or caffeine level.
Brewing guidance
Try a paper-filter brew first, then allow it to cool slightly to compare the tropical-fruit and cocoa elements. If using immersion, start at similar strength so a heavier texture does not obscure the differences. Keep notes if you plan to compare several experimental lots.
For filter coffee, a useful starting recipe is 20 g coffee to 320 g water (1:16). Use a grind suited to the brewer. If the cup is thin and sharp, try a little finer; if it is drying and slow to drain, try a little coarser. Treat this as a starting point, not a product-specific tested recipe.
For whole-bean preparation, explore Turin coffee grinders and choose a model that supports your brew method.
