Total Eclipse Dark Roast Decaf Coffee
Total Eclipse is Savorista’s darkest decaf roast, combining Colombian and Brazilian coffees with Swiss Water decaffeination. Walnut, baker’s chocolate and molasses lead the tasting profile. Those deeper sensory references make it a useful alternative to fruit-led decafs when a dark-roast finish is your priority.

Brewing guidance
Try 20 g of coffee to 320 g of water at approximately 90–93°C. Use a medium grind for a paper-filter brew, wet the grounds evenly, and avoid extending the drawdown merely to make the cup stronger. If the finish is dry or harsh, try a slightly coarser grind before changing the dose.
Frequently asked questions
What makes Total Eclipse distinctive?
It combines two named origins, Swiss Water processing and the darkest roast in Savorista’s decaf range, with walnut and molasses tasting notes.
What flavor profile should I expect?
Walnut, baker’s chocolate and rich molasses. These are sensory descriptions; your brewing method and serving temperature affect their expression.
Which size and format should I choose?
10 oz, 2 lb or 5 lb; whole bean or coarse, medium and fine grind. Select the grind that matches your brewer. Whole bean offers flexibility; a preground selection is ready for its intended method.
How can I adjust the cup’s strength?
Change the brew ratio if the flavor is balanced but the drink is too weak or too strong. Use slightly more coffee for greater concentration. Change grind size when the issue is extraction, such as sourness or a dry finish.
Is reduced-caffeine coffee caffeine-free?
Decaf and half-caff do not mean caffeine-free. No exact amount per serving is supplied; the quantity of coffee and preparation affect the amount in the finished drink.
How should I keep it fresh?
Keep the coffee sealed away from heat, light and moisture. Grind whole beans shortly before brewing. Choose a bag size that fits your consumption so repeated opening does not expose a large supply to air.

For the whole-bean option, a Turin DF54 grinder lets you adjust particle size between brews. Record the setting with your dose and water amount so the next cup is easier to repeat.
