MOAB, short for Mother of All Brews, is Aerial Resupply’s medium-roasted Robusta coffee. It is marketed as a double-caffeinated option for shoppers who specifically want a higher-caffeine coffee.

Read the caffeine claim in context
The product’s double-caffeinated positioning is a comparison with Arabica coffee, not a measured promise for every cup. The amount in a serving depends on coffee dose, preparation and serving size. A medium roast label describes roast development; it is not itself a caffeine measurement.
Brewing guidance
Use a weighed coffee dose and a serving size you can repeat. If you want to compare MOAB with another coffee, keep the recipe consistent so a change in strength does not confuse the comparison. Grind whole beans to suit your brewer rather than choosing an espresso grind for every use.
For whole-bean preparation, explore Turin coffee grinders and choose a model that supports your brew method.

A measured starting recipe
For a filter-brew starting point, measure 20 g coffee and 320 g water, a 1:16 brew ratio by mass. Use a grind appropriate for your filter and keep the bed evenly saturated. If the cup is balanced but weak, increase the coffee dose slightly; if it is sour or dry, adjust extraction through grind size before changing several variables at once.
More preparation and product questions
What roast profile is listed?
Medium.
Which formats are listed?
Whole bean or ground. Check the current selection menu for the available combinations.
How do I adjust strength without losing balance?
Change the coffee-to-water ratio when the flavor is balanced but the cup is too weak or concentrated. Use grind adjustments when the problem is extraction, keeping dose and water quantity constant for comparison.
Should I judge the coffee only while piping hot?
Taste again as the cup cools toward a comfortable drinking temperature. Sweetness, acidity, body and finish may become easier to distinguish before you decide how to adjust the next brew.
How should I store the coffee?
Keep it sealed away from heat, light and moisture. Grind whole beans shortly before brewing; keep ground coffee tightly closed between uses to limit exposure to air.
