Compare roast profiles within one origin
Lifeline makes a useful contrast with the brand’s Colombian Fire Watch medium roast and 15W40 dark roast. They should not be assumed to be the same lot roasted differently, but their listed origin and roast information offer a straightforward way to narrow your preferred style.
Brewing guidance
Use a paper-filter brewer to explore the citrus and stonefruit notes. If the cup tastes sharp and thin, try a slightly finer grind or a little more contact time. Do not confuse pleasant fruit-like acidity with a requirement to make every brew taste sour.
For whole-bean preparation, explore Turin coffee grinders and choose a model that supports your brew method.
Explore Fire Watch for a Colombian medium-roast alternative. Browse more specialty coffee from independent roasters.

A measured starting recipe
For a filter-brew starting point, measure 20 g coffee and 320 g water, a 1:16 brew ratio by mass. Use a grind appropriate for your filter and keep the bed evenly saturated. If the cup is balanced but weak, increase the coffee dose slightly; if it is sour or dry, adjust extraction through grind size before changing several variables at once.
More preparation and product questions
Where does this coffee come from?
Colombia.
What roast profile is listed?
Light.
What cup or flavor profile is described?
Citrus and stonefruit.
Which formats are listed?
Whole bean or ground. Check the current selection menu for the available combinations.
How do I adjust strength without losing balance?
Change the coffee-to-water ratio when the flavor is balanced but the cup is too weak or concentrated. Use grind adjustments when the problem is extraction, keeping dose and water quantity constant for comparison.
Should I judge the coffee only while piping hot?
Taste again as the cup cools toward a comfortable drinking temperature. Sweetness, acidity, body and finish may become easier to distinguish before you decide how to adjust the next brew.
