A light roast with a blend approach
Named for the C-130 Hercules aircraft, this selection combines two origins rather than presenting a single lot. The listed peanut note is a sensory descriptor, not enough information to determine ingredients or allergen status. Compare Hercules with Lifeline if you want to explore a Brazilian-Colombian blend alongside a Colombian light roast.
Brewing guidance
Try paper-filter drip brewing to assess the citrus against the caramel and nutty notes. Begin with a moderate coffee-to-water ratio, then adjust grind if the result feels thin or sharp. Keep the coffee dose steady while making the first change.

A measured starting recipe
For a filter-brew starting point, measure 20 g coffee and 320 g water, a 1:16 brew ratio by mass. Use a grind appropriate for your filter and keep the bed evenly saturated. If the cup is balanced but weak, increase the coffee dose slightly; if it is sour or dry, adjust extraction through grind size before changing several variables at once.
More preparation and product questions
Where does this coffee come from?
Brazil and Colombia.
What roast profile is listed?
Blond / light.
What cup or flavor profile is described?
Citrus, caramel and peanut.
Which formats are listed?
Whole bean or ground. Check the current selection menu for the available combinations.
How do I adjust strength without losing balance?
Change the coffee-to-water ratio when the flavor is balanced but the cup is too weak or concentrated. Use grind adjustments when the problem is extraction, keeping dose and water quantity constant for comparison.
Should I judge the coffee only while piping hot?
Taste again as the cup cools toward a comfortable drinking temperature. Sweetness, acidity, body and finish may become easier to distinguish before you decide how to adjust the next brew.
