Henry’s Ethiopian Harrar Natural Coffee
A natural-process coffee from family-owned farms in Ethiopia’s Harari region, where the Great Rift Valley meets the Ahmar Mountains. Producer Abdirashid Abdullahi is the nephew of Ogsadey of the Harrar Horse coffee brand. The coffee is sun dried, hand sorted, milled and sorted again, and earned Golden Bean bronze medals in 2017, 2018 and 2019.
The profile below separates verified product facts from general brewing advice. Details the roaster has not supplied—such as a farm, cultivar, elevation or processing method—are marked as not specified rather than inferred.

Brewing guidance
For pour-over or drip, start with a 1:16 brew ratio: 20 g coffee to 320 g water. Use a medium grind and target a three-to-four-minute drawdown. Grind finer if the cup is thin or sharply under-extracted; grind coarser if the finish is drying. After degassing, adjust water temperature and extraction to balance body, acidity and clarity.
Use the selected grind as a starting point, then dial in for your brewer and water. A consistent burr grinder such as the Turin DF54 makes small changes repeatable. Compare other home coffee grinders or browse the Specialty Coffee collection.
