Sumatra

The women responsible for this coffee are a subgroup from the

Gayo Arabica Mahkota Indonesia Cooperative, one of the many democratically organized associations that have been forming in Sumatra in recent years. They receive a premium that they are able to reinvest in their farms and communities.

Ethiopia

A naturally processed stunner from Mrs. Tigest Wako, a single estate farm in the Yirgacheffe region. This area is renowned for their sweet and fruity, complex coffees. The acidity in this coffee is subdued, making it a perfect complement to the Sumatra.

I thought I was just buying a simple grinder but it does so much more

I thought I was just buying a simple grinder but it does so much more. The ability to adjust the grind size is amazing and then the removable bottom with the inner stopper makes putting the grounds into my portfilter so easy! I thought I was going to have to scoop them out and that would have been so much messier.

I am so impressed with this grinder, especially for the price. It was incredibly easy to dial in my espresso, and the stepless adjustment makes it easy to be precise. There is little to no retention so far. It’s not too noisy either, which is great for when I’m making a drink while the rest of the house is still asleep.
