A collaboration with the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art is the story behind BIMA x Pegasus. Created for the museum’s tenth anniversary, the medium roast combines coffees from Colombia, Sumatra and Tanzania. Orange, spice and a restrained cocoa note shape its tasting description, while the 12 oz bag keeps this collaboration distinct from Pegasus’s single-origin Samambaia.

Let orange and spice emerge in a straightforward pot
Use 25 g coffee and 410 g water for a first drip brew. Take a few sips plain and look for the orange impression in the brighter part of the cup, then assess the spice and cocoa as it cools. The cocoa is described as subtle, so a strong chocolate expectation may miss the intended balance.
If serving two people, split the pot before adding milk or sugar. Compare a small milk addition in one cup with the other left black. Keep the coffee ratio stable for your next brew and change only the serving addition or extraction variable you want to investigate.
Does the museum collaboration identify one farm?
It identifies the blend’s cultural partnership, not a single estate. Three origins and two processing styles are disclosed, without component percentages or named farms. The anniversary background is historical and does not by itself establish a current limited-time offer or a particular delivery schedule.
