Planning note: This is the direct-connect Musica. It requires a treated cold-water line and drain. Confirm the installation, filtration and shutoff plan before ordering. For a self-contained setup, choose the Musica reservoir version.
The Nuova Simonelli Musica Direct-Connect is designed for home espresso bars, offices, hospitality stations and lower-volume service where a compact machine and a permanent water connection make sense. Its heat-exchange boiler can brew espresso and steam milk during the same workflow, while programmable volumetric buttons reduce the need to stop every shot manually.
At about 13 inches wide, the Musica provides a professional 58 mm portafilter, pressure gauge, hot-water wand and commercial-style steam wand without occupying the counter space of a full-size café machine. Nuova Simonelli's thermoregulated group and Soft Infusion System gently wet the puck before full pressure, helping make extraction more forgiving when distribution or tamping varies.
The soft-touch control panel provides volumetric and manual brewing. Volumetrics improve consistency, but grind size, dose, distribution and tamp still determine extraction quality. The pressure gauge helps the operator confirm that the machine is behaving as expected, and the reverse mirror gives a view of the espresso stream without crouching.
The lever-operated, multi-hole steam wand has the power needed for cappuccino and latte service. Because this is a heat-exchange machine rather than a dual-boiler design, staff should follow a consistent flushing and warm-up routine. That makes the Musica especially well suited to trained teams with moderate demand rather than nonstop, high-volume café production.

Water quality is part of the installation, not an afterthought. Test the incoming supply and use treatment sized for local hardness and expected volume. Scale damage is preventable and may not be covered by warranty. See our water-hardness guide.
Provide an accessible shutoff valve, appropriate pressure regulation when needed, and a drain with a proper air gap as required by local code. Backflush on the schedule in the manual, clean the steam wand immediately after every use, wash baskets and portafilters daily, and replace treatment cartridges based on water usage and test results.
Choose the direct-connect Musica for a home, office, tasting room, hotel breakfast area or small hospitality counter where convenience and compact size matter. For a busy café with sustained queues and multiple baristas, compare full commercial options in our commercial espresso machine collection.

I bought both the Lita and the Milo. I had some concerns about grind retention after watching a few online reviews, but after using the Milo, I haven’t experienced any issues with this.
I really love being able to adjust the burr gap predictably and reliably digitally. It makes dialing in my beans much easier, and once I get a particular bean dialed in, I can save a profile for it and quickly return to those settings later.
Great build quality and just the right amount of adjustability for pressure/flow profiling. I like being able to bind a basic profile to the grouphead button so others in my house can use it without needing to know anything about the advanced menus.
Excellent shipping and the product was just as described. It took my espresso to the next level!
I started working with Barret on a problem I was having on my son's M6 that we bought from someone else not knowing Expresso Outlet was the sole US Distributor. Barret got him back up and running so I bought a M10 for myself through Expresso Outlet. The unit showed up well boxed and padded. Came with alot of extras. Wired it up and it runs flawlessly. Many Thanks again to Barret for all the email responses we had over the last few months.
I am in love with this grinder. I ordered it because my 15-year-old MACAP I thought was broken, but I fixed it easily, so didn’t need the Eureka Mignon Libra. But the design, size, reduced noise level, and the weighing function have allowed me to dial in so precisely, and with so little effort, that I kept the Eureka. It was time for a change.
Purchased the Moshi C83 Conical Burr Grinder from Espresso Outlet and had a great experience. Joe was very responsive over email and answered all my questions quickly. The grinder shipped fast, was well packaged, and arrived in perfect condition.
The grinder itself has been excellent so far — solid performance and a really good value, especially with the one-year warranty. Highly recommend Espresso Outlet.
The M1 Lite looks and feels great, but I’m having major connection issues. After about 45–60 minutes (three roasts), it completely disconnects. The only fix is to unplug the cable and swap USB ports until Artisan recognizes it again. It works well at first, but not for long. I'm not impressed.

The grinder clogs despite precautions mentions. It took 2-3 months to get it as well. The grind and adjustment seem to be good when not obstructed.
