Configuration note: This is the self-contained Musica with an internal water reservoir. It does not require a permanent water line. For a fixed installation with continuous water, choose the Musica direct-connect version.
The Nuova Simonelli Musica Reservoir brings commercial-style controls to homes, offices, tasting rooms and lower-volume hospitality settings that cannot add a water line. Its approximately 3 L tank makes placement more flexible, while the heat-exchange boiler lets the operator brew espresso and steam milk in the same workflow.
Programmable volumetric buttons can store repeatable shot volumes, and manual mode remains available when the barista wants direct control. The professional 58 mm portafilter, pressure gauge, hot-water wand and lever-operated steam wand make the Musica a substantial step up from a typical appliance-style machine.

Use water that protects the boiler from scale while still supporting good extraction. Distilled or reverse-osmosis water without remineralization can create its own problems, while hard water can cause scale and service issues. Test your supply and follow the manufacturer's water guidance; our water-hardness guide explains the first step.
Refill the tank before a service period, purge and wipe the steam wand immediately after milk use, rinse the group, and clean portafilters and baskets daily. Backflush as directed in the manual. Allow adequate warm-up time so the group, portafilter and cups reach a stable operating temperature.
It is a strong fit for the serious home user who makes several milk drinks, an office that wants push-button dosing, or a small hospitality program with manageable demand. It is less suitable for an all-day high-volume café, where continuous water, larger boilers and multiple groups reduce bottlenecks.
No permanent drain is required for the reservoir version, but the drip tray must be emptied and cleaned routinely.
Yes. The heat-exchange system is designed for simultaneous espresso brewing and steam use after warm-up.
That depends on drink volume, flushing and hot-water use. Check it before service rather than waiting for a low-water interruption.
It can suit light-duty specialty or hospitality use, but a plumbed commercial machine is the better choice for sustained queues.
Pair it with a capable espresso grinder. See our home grinder collection or commercial grinders based on duty cycle.

Excellent purchase
Package arrived well protected without damage.
I had a thermoblock Breville Bambino before. After ~6yrs using it I could make good cortado but it was inconsistent.
This machine produces quality results every time. The steam is powerful. The extraction is great. Consistent, high temps. We get comments on how nice it looks.
For negatives, the included manual is sparse, especially for maintenance. I’ve found some videos online but many are in Korean so we’re still figuring that out. We drink primarily medium/dark roast. I’ve made light roast with it. It came out ok, but don’t know if I’d suggest it for that.
We were deciding among this, a Quick Mill Pop-Up, or a Profitec Go
I bought both the Lita and the Milo. I had some concerns about grind retention after watching a few online reviews, but after using the Milo, I haven’t experienced any issues with this.
I really love being able to adjust the burr gap predictably and reliably digitally. It makes dialing in my beans much easier, and once I get a particular bean dialed in, I can save a profile for it and quickly return to those settings later.
Great build quality and just the right amount of adjustability for pressure/flow profiling. I like being able to bind a basic profile to the grouphead button so others in my house can use it without needing to know anything about the advanced menus.
Excellent shipping and the product was just as described. It took my espresso to the next level!
Full-featured espresso machine with dynamic fan speed, drum velocity, and high-precision temperature controller capable of 500g batches for under $2,000? Insane deal! It's also about the same footprint (or smaller) than my previous roaster which only did 250g batches. My only significant complaint is about the bean tray. I had to assemble that myself, and it has several pieces of metal that are secured together via these press-fit plastic tabs rather than screws and washers, and when I dump my beans, sometimes the plastic tab detaches and I have to go hunting for a tiny piece of plastic among my coffee beans, and then take the tray apart and re-assemble it.

One of my favorite coffees because it hits all the notes in flavor.
Purchased the Moshi C83 Conical Burr Grinder from Espresso Outlet and had a great experience. Joe was very responsive over email and answered all my questions quickly. The grinder shipped fast, was well packaged, and arrived in perfect condition.
The grinder itself has been excellent so far — solid performance and a really good value, especially with the one-year warranty. Highly recommend Espresso Outlet.
The M1 Lite looks and feels great, but I’m having major connection issues. After about 45–60 minutes (three roasts), it completely disconnects. The only fix is to unplug the cable and swap USB ports until Artisan recognizes it again. It works well at first, but not for long. I'm not impressed.
