If your bean temperature is not accurate, or not showing a temperature, replace with a new temperature probe from Kaleido USA.  This temperature probe has a long cord, allowing it to mount to the front of the roaster.  If you need the drum temperature probe, see the short temperature probe for the M1 and M2 coffee roaster.

Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.
