Plan before buying equipment

• Confirm local business, health-department, fire, zoning, commissary, and event requirements.
• Calculate simultaneous electrical loads by circuit, including espresso machine, grinder, brewer, refrigeration, pumps, water heater, and smallwares.
• Design potable-water supply, filtration, handwashing, warewashing, and wastewater capacity for the full event.
• Map the bar from order to handoff and leave safe clearance around hot surfaces and moving staff.
• Estimate drinks per peak 15 minutes; choose equipment and staffing for that peak rather than the daily average.
• Document tie-down points and transport cases before the first trip.
