Toffee notes with a syrupy finish
The toffee comparison describes the coffee's flavor impression; syrupy refers to the finish rather than added syrup. Try a measured filter brew first to establish a baseline. If you prefer more texture, compare it with an immersion brew using a grind suited to that method and the same coffee-to-water ratio.

Coffee shipping and returns
Coffee ships directly from the roasting partner, and shipping charges are set by that partner. Green and roasted coffee do not qualify for free shipping. Coffee orders cannot be returned or canceled, so check the selected coffee, format and quantity before placing your order.
A measured starting recipe
For a filter-brew starting point, measure 20 g coffee and 320 g water, a 1:16 brew ratio by mass. Use a grind appropriate for your filter and keep the bed evenly saturated. If the cup is balanced but weak, increase the coffee dose slightly; if it is sour or dry, adjust extraction through grind size before changing several variables at once.
More preparation and product questions
Where does this coffee come from?
Peru.
What roast profile is listed?
Medium.
What cup or flavor profile is described?
Toffee, sweet acidity and syrupy finish.
How do I adjust strength without losing balance?
Change the coffee-to-water ratio when the flavor is balanced but the cup is too weak or concentrated. Use grind adjustments when the problem is extraction, keeping dose and water quantity constant for comparison.
Should I judge the coffee only while piping hot?
Taste again as the cup cools toward a comfortable drinking temperature. Sweetness, acidity, body and finish may become easier to distinguish before you decide how to adjust the next brew.
How should I store the coffee?
Keep it sealed away from heat, light and moisture. Grind whole beans shortly before brewing; keep ground coffee tightly closed between uses to limit exposure to air.
