What is it?

The LUCCA Solo is a single-boiler, vibratory pump, E61 espresso machine with a built-in PID and shot timer that runs on its 3L built-in water reservoir. The black and stainless variants come with walnut wood touchpoints. The Solo does not have a steam wand and is an espresso-only shot-pulling experience.

Who is it for?

The Solo is for the espresso purist who desires delicious espresso and delicious espresso only. With a PID and commercial-standard 58mm group head, you can be sure that you're pulling both temperature-stable and tasty shots. The Solo is for the home barista who loves the ritual of making espresso the way they want to. The Solo is also incredibly compact and can fit on most kitchen counters and espresso bars.

Why did we make it?

We are on a mission to make a LUCCA machine for every type of home barista, and the Solo is no exception. Espresso-only drinkers are less niche than they once were; thus, why have an espresso machine with a steam wand when you'd never used it?

Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

Great Service! It has been a few months since I purchased my machine, but I absolutely love it. Initially I had some issues with damage from shipping, but Joe took care of it immediately so there were no problems. He also stayed on the phone with me for a long time the day I received my machine so I could get everything working properly. I highly recommend!

Espresso Outlet was friendly and had a very good price. I did not expect delivery before Christmas, however the Alexia arrived on Christmas eve. This is a high quality machine. I emailed a couple of questions to the owners, and my questions were answered within a few hours. They seem like nice people, with good service and high quality espresso machines.

Great customer service! Joe worked with me from purchasing a grinder to ultimately returning and changing to a different grinder. It’s a tough decision buying without seeing or using and the fact that a business is willing to work with their customers goes a long way with me. I would definitely recommend Joe and EspressoOutlet.
