Coffee Story:

The Mokamba is a blend of coffees from three regions. Primarily, it's coffee from Kambata — a region known to produce ginger — blended with special preparations from Sidamo and Wolyata. The cherries, Arabica heirlooms, are farmed at altitudes ranging from 1,500 to 1,800 meters.

After harvesting, which takes place between October and December, the cherries are patio dried. The three green coffees are carefully balanced to create a harmonious natural–process profile, with hints of sweet berry, grape and chocolate, as well as a creamy body.

A sweet, complex coffee with a smooth buttery body and hints of cocoa and red berry. Ideal for drip coffee brewing in your good old fashioned automatic coffee brewer.

Small bits of stone or concrete may be found in patio dried coffee. Check carefully to avoid damage to grinders.

True value for the money

I use it only for espresso and it’s performed flawlessly, it throws to within, .3g 15g in 14.7out is the the greatest difference I’ve ever found generally it’s within .1 or right on. A silver colored cup would be better than the black so that you can see how much coffee is still stuck inside after after transporting into the Portafilter transferring into the Portafilter.
I would definitely recommend it to my friends:)

Excellent update to a fine grinder design. Fit and finish , anti-static, motor refinements: all at a great price. Superb grinder for espresso: red titanium burrs are so good. Espresso outlet has great support and customer service.

Great Machine - Blasts through Milk drinks

Built like a tank. Looks to have been built by the Soviet space program to withstand a missile. I've had it for a week and the steaming performance really stands out. For pure espresso, I find it a little finicky, but slowly dialing it in.

Much better than I expected..

Always Hype when someone has something to sell - that makes me very hesitant to buy anything over the net. BUT - So far (2 weeks) all works much better than I thought it might. I followed directions exactly - now have it set on "50" and get great coffee over my old Breville grinder. Wife won't let me give it away yet tho!!!

DF54 Upgrade Kit

Grinder is easy to dial in for espresso. Also was able to swap to grind size for pour over and drip easily. Adjusted back to espresso setting and pulled a shot with no issues. Have been using it as single doser but timer works and is easily programmable.

the upgrade kit made a huge difference in clogging and static build up from v1. That said, I don't think people should have to pay another $30 to fix their original design flaw, especially since that grinder is over $200.

This kit takes effort to install as some of the screws are really hard to manipulate. Also, the plastic guard they provide is HORRIBLE. DO NOT INSTALL IT. JUST STICK WITH THE METAL PIECE ONLY. You can find more information on this excellent video:
