Deep Sea is Sea State Coffee’s light-roasted Tanzanian Kilimanjaro Peaberry selection. Peach, raisin, cherry, kiwi and lime notes give the roaster’s profile a broad fruit spectrum, supported by a round body and juicy acidity. Choose it when fruit character is more appealing than a heavily roast-led cup.

Peaberry and preparation
Peaberry describes a rounded single seed that develops inside some coffee cherries, rather than the usual pair. It is a bean form, not an added flavor or a guarantee of a particular quality score. The whole-bean option gives you control over grind; the ground option trades that flexibility for convenience.
Brewing and storage
For whole-bean preparation, compare Turin coffee grinders suited to your brew method.

A measured starting recipe
For a filter-brew starting point, measure 20 g coffee and 320 g water, a 1:16 brew ratio by mass. Use a grind appropriate for your filter and keep the bed evenly saturated. If the cup is balanced but weak, increase the coffee dose slightly; if it is sour or dry, adjust extraction through grind size before changing several variables at once.
More preparation and product questions
Where does this coffee come from?
Tanzania, Kilimanjaro selection.
What roast profile is listed?
Light.
Which processing method is documented?
Washed.
Which formats are listed?
Whole bean or ground. Check the current selection menu for the available combinations.
How do I adjust strength without losing balance?
Change the coffee-to-water ratio when the flavor is balanced but the cup is too weak or concentrated. Use grind adjustments when the problem is extraction, keeping dose and water quantity constant for comparison.
Should I judge the coffee only while piping hot?
Taste again as the cup cools toward a comfortable drinking temperature. Sweetness, acidity, body and finish may become easier to distinguish before you decide how to adjust the next brew.
