Some parts of the roaster have the option to be automated by using the Hermetheus Co-Pilot. This device allows you to connect the roaster to your computer where you can use Artisan Scope roast profiling software to tell the roaster what profile you want to roast and the device will change the heat setting on the roaster to follow the roast curve you set for it. All you would need to do is load the beans, set the loft, click GO on your computer, and the roaster will take care of the rest until it’s time to dump the beans into the bean cooler.

Kaleido M2 heats up fast and is ideal size for my weekly coffee consumption of 300 grams or so. The Kaleido monitor works well with a little practice to provide full functionality. I haven’t been able to use the Artisan software due to lack of appropriate laptop computer.

So far pretty happy with the purchase.Retention is little to none and it is a decently quiet grinder. The worm screw is difficult to use if you want to switch from espresso to a pour over. I am only using it for my espresso.
no branding like the photos. looks like a random generic grinder. retention is insane in the brain. will update review after a few months of use, but doesn't look promising right now.
Its good design and very helpful to know where the true zero is after maintenance.
The one I received is a super super tight fit, I can’t slide it off to remove or adjust the dial without taking apart the dial collar and burr carrier. Need quite a bit of force to slide off and on. May need to sand down the inside of the dial indicator to get a good fit.
