The perfect cup of cold brew coffee starts with coarse ground coffee in muslin bags, immersed in cool water for a full 24 hours. This long and gentle brewing process creates an especially pleasant, rich coffee with less acidity.
Here at The Brooklyn Roasting Company, our cold brew blend is made from high-grown Peruvian coffees roasted medium-dark at two temperatures to impart a distinctive melted-chocolate-berry character in every cup.
Cold Brew Instructions (per 12oz tin):
We recommend a coarse grind for optimal cold brewing. One pound coffee to one gallon water yields optimal strength after 24 hrs at 40—50 degrees.
