Capacity is the green-coffee weight loaded before roasting. Finished weight is lower, and the best charge size depends on bean density, roast style and the temperature probe’s contact with the bean mass. A maximum rating is not a promise of equal results at every batch size.
At an illustrative 15% weight loss, a 200g charge yields 170g and a 500g charge yields 425g. These are calculations, not measured roast results. Use your own finished weights and allow time for preheating, roasting, cooling and cleaning when planning how many batches you need.
Lite and Pro: supply your own compatible computer for Artisan. Windows is our recommended supported setup. The Kaleido proprietary tablet is not a later plug-in upgrade for an Artisan-only controller.
Dual System: the included Kaleido tablet runs the Kaleido interface; Artisan runs on a separate compatible computer. Connection instructions depend on the control board and generation, so follow the guide for the exact machine.
Use the Kaleido setup, manuals and connection guide. For 220V needs or help matching capacity to your routine, contact Espresso Outlet.
A saved curve is a reference, not a transferable recipe. Batch weight, airflow, heating and machine size change the roast. Record your own control changes and compare the brewed coffee.

Good green beans and fast shipping.
After years of toying with the idea of espresso at home I finally jumped off the deep end and bought a Turin MC3. I’d like to thank the folks over at Espresso Outlet for going back and forth with me via email a bunch of beginner questions about how to get the machine dialed in. Don’t have any real comparison to other machines, this being the only one I’ve ever used. Paired the machine with a matching Turin CF46v grinder and, as a person with no experience, have consistently been turning around solid espresso. Once you get the pre-measured shot volume dialed in it’s been outputting a consistent 16/40 ratio on the pulled shots. I do like the separate steam generator as it is rather quick to warm up enough to froth or pull hot water. Machine takes around 10-15 minutes to warm up from cold to operating temps. All in seems well built, feels good, finishes are good. Would buy again.
