Two-Group Volumetric Production With Saturated Groups
The Wendougee SDragon is a two-group commercial espresso machine that combines saturated brew groups, independent boiler control and a touchscreen-led volumetric workflow. It is aimed at cafés and hospitality bars that want programmable portions and modern controls without assigning every shot stop to the barista.
Published material lists separate coffee and steam boilers, PID temperature control and a commercial constant-pressure pump. A 4.3-inch interface centralizes recipe and operating adjustments. The machine's two groups allow parallel extraction, while the dedicated steam system supports milk service during brewing.
Core Features
- Two saturated groups: intended to maintain stable temperature during repeated shots.
- Volumetric dosing: programmed portions support consistency and multitasking.
- Independent PID control: manages the brew and steam systems separately.
- 4.3-inch touchscreen: recipe and system information in a centralized interface.
- Commercial pressure pump: designed for consistent extraction pressure.
- Separate boiler capacity: published as 8.7 L steam plus 3.5 L coffee-boiler capacity.
- Steel construction: designed for a commercial duty cycle.
Best Fit
The SDragon suits a shop that values programmed output and straightforward staff training. It is a better fit than a fully manual machine when baristas must manage milk and customer interaction while shots run. An operation centered on pressure profiling or brew-by-weight should compare the DMecha and DMantis before deciding.

Installation and Daily Care
Dimensions and electrical data for an incoming production unit can change before launch. Obtain the final certified North American cut sheet and confirm plug or hardwire method, phase, amperage, water inlet, drain and counter clearance.
Commercial espresso equipment needs a treated cold-water supply and a drain unless the final cut sheet states otherwise. Test hardness and alkalinity before choosing treatment; review our water-hardness guide.
Backflush both groups, wipe and purge steam wands after every use, clean portafilters and baskets daily, wash the drain tray and follow the touchscreen cleaning prompts. Arrange qualified service and maintain a log for filter changes and preventive maintenance.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the SDragon semi-automatic or volumetric?
It is a volumetric commercial machine with manual control available. Product naming sometimes uses “semi-automatic” broadly; programmed portions are the important workflow distinction.
Can both groups brew at once?
Yes, the two-group format is designed for parallel extraction, subject to the configured power and recovery capacity.
Does it offer pressure profiling?
Published SDragon material emphasizes volumetric dosing and PID control. Do not assume programmable pressure profiles unless confirmed on the final build.
Is a 220–240 V circuit enough information for installation?
No. Your electrician needs the final amperage, phase, connector and certification data.
Which grinder should be paired with it?
Select a commercial grinder that can sustain the shop's peak shots per hour without excessive heat or queueing.
