This grinder works very well especially considering its price. The only issue I have so far is that it sometimes takes more than one press of the button to start the machine. Sometimes it can take up to three time for the grinder to stay running. I think this is a case of a defective product but I am reluctant to try to get it resolved because of how long I had to wait for espresso outlet to ship my grinder. I feel like I would rather just accept this issue and deal with it than wait a few more months to get it fixed or replaced.

Great grinder. Quality materials. Solid metal construction. Excellent grind range from filter to espresso brewing. Simple operation. No issues with coffee getting jammed as I read in some comments. Grams of coffee you put in is what you get out. Very good grinder for the price. 100% recommend.

Works great

I was lucky enough to snag a batch 2 DF54 and I got it about a month after ordering. This thing really makes good espresso possible. I was using a Timemore C3 before and couldn't get a good shot. This really changes the game. The burrs came perfectly aligned. The stepless adjustment is great. I wish this grinder hadn't tried to be a filter grinder too, because the range for espresso isn't huge. Stepless helps a lot though in that regard. No mechanical issues. Very solid grinder with good build quality that should last for years to come. This is a necessity if you are on a budget but still want to make espresso, it's the best grinder in the price range.

Great machine

I replaced an Expobar with a PID that was getting old. This is a nice replacement. The shot counter and pressure gauge on the group are nice additions. I wish the drip tray was a bit bigger and the reboot could switch between C and F readings but those are minor points. I love the machine. Great customer support too.
