Three origins in a bright light-roast blend

Yacht Club combines coffees from Honduras, Colombia and Brazil in a light roast. Clear Lake describes sweet-lemonade, cherry-cobbler and rhubarb impressions with bright acidity. Those are cupping descriptors rather than fruit ingredients or added flavoring. The blend is one of the livelier options in the Clear Lake lineup and is also positioned for espresso.

The country list is documented, but the record does not name farms, producer groups, cultivars, elevations, processing methods or component percentages. Those facts cannot be inferred from national origin alone. The roast is light, so expect roast development to preserve more perceived acidity and origin expression than a darker blend, without assuming one exact color or solubility.

The listing includes 12-ounce, one-pound, two-pound and five-pound sizes. Standard, Espresso and Whole Bean selections are available. Whole beans are useful when the recipe needs grind control; prepared grind choices trade adjustment range for convenience.

Dial in brightness without chasing one brew time

For pour-over, start with 20 grams of coffee and 320 grams of filtered water, a 1:16 ratio. Use water near 200–203°F and a medium grind. Wet the grounds evenly, allow a short bloom, then pour consistently. Taste as the cup cools because sweetness and fruit definition can become clearer at a lower temperature.

If lemonade becomes sharply sour and the cup feels thin, grind finer or add modest agitation to increase extraction. If the finish is dry and the rhubarb impression turns rough, move coarser. Track drawdown for diagnosis, but do not force every dripper to the same time; filter shape, dose and grinder distribution all affect flow.

For espresso, begin with a basket-appropriate dose and roughly a 1:2 to 1:2.5 beverage yield. A light roast may need a finer grind, slightly longer ratio or higher temperature than a dark roast, but taste should guide the choice. Record dose, yield and time so each adjustment is interpretable.

The Turin DF64 Gen 2 grinder and Turin Legato espresso machine form a contextual whole-bean espresso setup. The prepared Espresso grind may be convenient, but no fixed grind can match every basket, pressure profile or stage of degassing.

Store it for consistent extraction

Choose 12 ounces for a first taste or espresso dial-in. One and two pounds suit regular brewing, while five pounds is best for high turnover. At a 20-gram dose, five pounds represents more than 110 brews before dialing waste. Portion a bulk bag to reduce repeated oxygen and humidity exposure.

Seal coffee between uses and keep it away from heat and direct light. As roasted coffee degasses, puck resistance and filter drawdown can shift. Make small grinder changes during the life of the bag while leaving the rest of the recipe stable.

Compare Clear Lake Surf Blend for a medium-roast blend of El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico. The Specialty Coffee collection contains other light roasts and espresso-focused coffees.

Ordering and shipping

Coffee ships directly from the roaster partner. Roasted coffee does not qualify for free shipping; shipping charges are set by the partner. Coffee orders are not eligible for returns or cancellations, so confirm the bag size, grind and quantity before ordering.

Because variants can differ by grind and size, review the exact selection shown in the cart before checkout. When the shipment arrives, retain the roaster label and note the chosen variant with your first brew record. That makes later recipe adjustments and reordering more reliable than relying on the product name alone.
