Condition and availability: This is an open-box black Eureka Mignon Libra 65 All Purpose. Espresso Outlet has inspected, cleaned and tested the returned unit. This item was used for 1 month and is missing the manual and the factory box. The unit does show some wear on the fork pads and on the dosing collar. It has all other accessories included. This grinder will come with a 1 year warranty.

Open-Box Libra 65 AP: One Grinder for Espresso and Filter

The Libra 65 AP combines an integrated scale with Eureka’s 65mm all-purpose burr system. Unlike the espresso-centered Libra 55, this model is designed to move across espresso and common filter ranges. The larger king-size adjustment dial and revolution counter help you track broader setting changes when switching methods.

For espresso, place a compatible portafilter on the fork and program a target dose. For filter brewing, use the appropriate receptacle and move to the recorded grind range for your recipe. The grinder stops by measured weight, reducing the effect that bean density and grind speed can have on a purely timed dose.

Key Reasons to Consider This Unit

  • Open-box savings: A tested individual unit at a reduced price.
  • Weight-based dosing: The grinder controls dose mass during grinding.
  • 65mm all-purpose burrs: Intended for espresso plus filter preparations.
  • Blind upper burr: Designed to reduce the space where grounds can remain.
  • Trackable adjustment: A larger dial and revolution counter help users return to prior settings.

Workflow Considerations

The Libra 65 AP is a good match when you want hopper convenience and regularly brew more than one method. It is not the same experience as weighing individual beans into a single-dose grinder; some purging may be useful after a major setting change. If espresso is your only priority and counter space matters most, compare the Libra 55. For high-output commercial-style espresso with weight control, consider the Atom W 75.

Open-Box Purchase Notes

Examine current images and selections because open-box condition is unit-specific. Packaging and included small accessories can vary. The same applicable Espresso Outlet warranty as a new unit is included; the current store return policy controls eligibility and timing.

FAQ

Is this the 55mm Libra?

No. This is the 65mm All Purpose version.

Does it work for filter coffee?

Yes. Its burr design and adjustment system are intended to cover espresso and filter ranges.

Has the scale been checked?

The unit is function-tested as part of Espresso Outlet’s open-box inspection.

See the new Libra 65 AP listing for the full standard-product overview.

All-purpose grind-by-weight capability in a compact body

The Libra 65 AP expands Eureka’s weight-based Mignon concept with a larger 65 mm flat-burr platform and a workflow intended to cover more than traditional espresso alone. The integrated scale measures the coffee delivered into the supported vessel, while stepless adjustment gives the user fine control over extraction. This open-box black unit has been cleaned, inspected and function-tested by Espresso Outlet.

Who will benefit most

  • Home baristas who want weight-based espresso without weighing every input dose separately.
  • Users who value a larger flat-burr platform but lack space for an Atom-class grinder.
  • Households sharing one grinder and seeking a more repeatable dosing routine.
  • Buyers comfortable with minor cosmetic evidence of prior handling in exchange for savings.

Open-box Eureka Libra 65 AP FAQ

What does AP mean for everyday use?

The all-purpose positioning gives the grinder a broader role than a strictly espresso-only setup. Large changes between brew methods still require purging and a record of preferred dial positions.

How should the weight-based system be set up?

Adjust the support for stable contact, center the receiving vessel and keep the weighing area clean. Do not touch the vessel during grinding, and verify the delivered dose periodically with a separate scale.

What does the open-box inspection cover?

Espresso Outlet cleans the returned unit and checks operation before resale. Minor cosmetic marks may remain, but open-box equipment receives the same warranty as new equipment unless the listing states otherwise.

How does this compare with the Libra 55?

The Libra 55 is the more traditional compact espresso choice. The 65 AP adds a larger burr format and broader brewing ambitions.

Is the Atom W 75 a better fit?

The Atom W 75 offers a larger commercial-style chassis and 75 mm burrs. Choose it for speed and heavier service; choose the Libra 65 AP for a smaller counter footprint. See the new model page or all home grinders.

Shipping and delivery requirements vary by product, destination, and order type. Review the product-specific notes on this page and Espresso Outlet’s shipping, return, cancellation, and warranty policies before ordering.

Large or commercial equipment may require freight delivery, bench testing, electrical work, plumbing, or professional installation. Submit a support ticket before ordering if you need help confirming requirements.

Note about water hardness

Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

Great Service! It has been a few months since I purchased my machine, but I absolutely love it. Initially I had some issues with damage from shipping, but Joe took care of it immediately so there were no problems. He also stayed on the phone with me for a long time the day I received my machine so I could get everything working properly. I highly recommend!
