This grinder is everything everyone says it is. Great price for a great grinder.
Aside from pairing perfectly with Wendougee, this is one tough little scale. None of the constant h2o errors you get with Acaia Lunar if there is a drop of moisture anywhere in the kitchen, and you can no longer shut it or change functions. i have spilled boiling water on it (accidentally) and it kept on ticking like the energizer bunny. A no brainer.
So far the grinder is performing perfectly! I love it!

So far I’m loving the new unit I purchased. The Data S has been the perfect upgrade for me. It’s a solid build, very quiet, heats up fast, what more could you want? I’ve been making multiple drinks daily, happy about pulling the trigger. Looking forward to the Milo grinder coming soon. Thanks to Barrett for the back and forth email suggestions.
Been a bit of a learning curve, but it's going well. Waiting on some better beans in hopes that makes it even better!

I couldn’t resist. I bought an SK 40 conical burr to compare to the DF 54. I have more expensive grinders that are better but both great grinders for the price but I’d say the DF54 if I only had one. Service was great.
New to home espresso making, not able to get proper bars of pressure using our Cuisinaet grinder, so we found the Turin SK40. The price was right at Espresso Outlet. The grinder is quiet compared toto our old one. Easy to adjust via the stepless dial and the weight of the beans you put in is equivalent to the ground coffee that comes out. It has a solid body, weighty enough not to jump around on the counter. The magnetic platform is strong so it keeps the steel collection cup in place. The cup fits into the 58mm portafilter. Satisfied with my purchase for a grinder under $200.
