Grinds are consistent and make delicious espresso when paired with my Cafelat Robot espresso maker. I was worried about the noise from some of the online video reviews. But I find it is actually pretty quiet. I did place it on the two stacked mouse pads that my previous grinder was on, so maybe this is helping.
The other issue these grinders were accused of is being messy-- with fines going all over the place. I don't find that to be true at all. They have really solved that problem with the Gen 2 upgrades. It is also nice to know I can upgrade the burrs in several years if I decide to.
I am super happy with the quality of this grinder and the coffee I can make with it.
I never write reviews, but I'm so impressed by this, I had to...believe the good things you read about this. Great build quality, and the consistency and quality of shots I'm getting is really amazing, especially considering the price. Worth every penny and many more.

The Turin Legato was our second purchase from Espresso Outlet. We had previously purchased the Turin DF64 grinder. Both are great machines that make great espresso. Espresso Outlet has great selection, value and service. I highly recommend them.
