What Does Trapeau Arabica Taste Like?

Trapeau Arabica is designed to be bold and dynamic without losing balance. Roasted caramel provides sweetness, earthy chocolate adds depth, and citrus gives the finish energy and contrast. The medium roast makes the blend versatile enough for straight coffee, concentrated espresso, and drinks with milk.

  • Sweetness: Roasted caramel
  • Foundation: Bold, earthy chocolate
  • Brightness: Citrus
  • Roast style: Bold medium roast
  • Overall character: Energetic, balanced, and versatile

Guatemala and Burundi Coffee Blend

Guatemalan coffee can contribute chocolate, caramel, and structural sweetness, while Burundi coffee can add lift, balance, and East African character. The fully washed process supports a clean presentation of those contrasting qualities.

This two-origin approach makes Trapeau Arabica approachable for someone who likes familiar chocolate and caramel flavors while still offering enough citrus brightness to remain distinctive.

About Clejan, The Trap Violinist

Born Zac Clejan in Atlanta, Clejan began studying violin at age three. His work combines classical training with hip-hop influence, creating the genre-crossing identity behind The Trap Violinist. The Trapeau Arabica collaboration reflects that same idea: technical foundation paired with expressive energy.

Choosing the blend supports a collaboration where coffee, music, and contemporary culture meet. Learn more through Clejan's official website.

Recommended Brewing Methods

Espresso

Begin with 18 grams of coffee and a 36–42 gram beverage yield in approximately 25–32 seconds. Adjust the grind to balance caramel sweetness, chocolate depth, and citrus brightness.

Latte or Cappuccino

The caramel and chocolate notes pair naturally with steamed milk. Use a double shot so the coffee remains flavorful, then adjust milk volume according to the strength you prefer.

Pour-Over

Use a medium-fine grind, a 1:16 ratio, and water near 195–205°F. This method highlights the washed-process clarity and citrus finish.

Automatic Drip

Start with approximately 60 grams of coffee per liter of water and a medium grind. Drip brewing produces a balanced cup suited to daily drinking.

AeroPress

Try 16–17 grams of coffee with 230–250 grams of water. Shorter concentrated recipes emphasize chocolate and caramel; longer recipes reveal more citrus character.

Whole Bean or Ground Trapeau Coffee?

Choose whole bean for maximum freshness and the ability to dial in the grind for each brewing method. A quality burr grinder makes it easier to control extraction; compare options in our home coffee grinders.

Choose ground when convenience matters most. Keep the package tightly closed in a cool, dry, dark place and avoid storing it near heat or moisture.

Who Is Trapeau Arabica Best For?

  • Fans of Clejan and artist-led coffee collaborations
  • Drinkers who enjoy caramel, chocolate, and citrus flavors
  • Espresso and latte drinkers seeking a bold medium roast
  • Pour-over users who appreciate clean washed coffees
  • Coffee drinkers exploring Guatemala and Burundi blends
  • Gift buyers looking for a distinctive music-inspired coffee
