The Upsetter beat out 170 other coffees in a double-blind taste test to win the 2019 Good Food Award. The award highlights both the superior flavor of this blend while honoring our social and environmental responsibility. This one-of-a-kind blend includes sweet, nutty tastes of Nicaragua, spicy notes from Congo, and the beautiful fruit-forward qualities of Ethiopian beans.

We named our Upsetter Espresso after Lee “Scratch” Perry, known as “The Upsetter”, a Jamaican record producer famous for his unusual remixes, using 8-track analog recording to produce strange, unique, and beautiful sounds. Read more here.

Although we originally created this blend to be an espresso coffee, this blend won the 2019 Good Food Award as an outstanding drip coffee - try it both ways!

Love the build quality of this product. Feels so heavy duty. The only thing is the wood top to rubber part seems to me like it could wear out, maybe if it was a magnet it would feel more heavy duty.

Bang for the Buck

As a beginner, I was wanting a grinder that will stop my itch from constant upgrades until I purchase my end game set up. What I need right now is something to practice with and this was perfect. Dialing my espresso with DF54 has been a delight. I feel like I’m getting the most out of my bean's flavors. It’s sturdy, easy to clean, straightforward. There was some frustration with queueing up for the preorder but it was worth it. I’m glad i’m not telling myself, “I wish I got that other grinder.”. I will be using this for a long time until I get my La Marzocco. For the meantime, I’m happy to pair it with my Breville Bambino Plus.

I purchased a Turin DF64 Gen 2 grinder from Seoul, South Korea, and my experience with Espresso LLC was outstanding.

Within couple of hour of placing my order, I was contacted by Mr. Steve White from Espresso LLC, who informed me that the express delivery option I had chosen was temporarily unavailable and assured me that the extra fee would be refunded. He also provided clear guidance on delivery and import duties which I was responsible for handling.

The entire process was handled exceptionally well. The grinder arrived almost as quickly as with express shipping, and my refund was processed within a week. Throughout every stage, Mr. White’s communication and follow-up were thorough and professional.

Grind

The ordered fine grind is too course, makes my espresso watery and with minimal creama in my home espresso machine. Should be almost powdery fine texture.

medium-dark beans -often gets clogged

medium-dark beans - often get clogged at the chute so we always have to clear it out after each grind. But the grinds look pretty consistent. Our true zero is -5 , recommend people get to figure out their true zero.
