More info from farm partners Finca Terrerito:

Welcome to Finca La Única:
Located in the remote mountains of the Copan region (Tenan mountain) of Honduras, our farm, Finca La Única, boasts an ideal climate and isolated location, resulting in a distinct coffee profile: smooth, fruity, with balanced acidity.

Our Philosophy:
Sustainable Agriculture and Careful Attention to all details. At Finca La Única, every coffee bean is meticulously cared for. We believe agriculture is not just a task, but a way of life. Our sustainable practices respect the natural cycle of the earth, ensuring each tree/plant receives the care it needs to grow strong and healthy, without harming the ecosystem.

Our Process: From Harvest to Export
After carefully hand-picking every single coffee cherry at their ripest point, we process them using clean well water that is more than 500 feet deep in the ground.

Our process includes:
1.  Cleaning to remove impurities.
2. Classification by quality using siphons and pulpers.
3. Fermentation and wet washing.
4. Drying in concrete patios or specialty coffee mechanical dryers that run on average 56 hours per batch (slow process to ensure best quality).
5. Warehousing in hermetic/GrainPro bags and nylon sacks for quality preservation until 10 days prior to exporting.
6. When ready for export, hauling and quality classification by size, density, and color sorting takes place.
7. Now we place 69Kgs in hermetic/GrainPro bag & jute sack, saw it shut, load the container and escort it to Puerto Cortes, Honduras.

Great Service! It has been a few months since I purchased my machine, but I absolutely love it. Initially I had some issues with damage from shipping, but Joe took care of it immediately so there were no problems. He also stayed on the phone with me for a long time the day I received my machine so I could get everything working properly. I highly recommend!

I emailed a couple of questions to the owners, and my questions were answered within a few hours. They seem like nice people, with good service and high quality espresso machines.

Great customer service! Joe worked with me from purchasing a grinder to ultimately returning and changing to a different grinder. It’s a tough decision buying without seeing or using and the fact that a business is willing to work with their customers goes a long way with me. I would definitely recommend Joe and EspressoOutlet.
