Haiti Coffee Respè Medium Roast Blend
Respè combines Haitian coffee with a Mexican component from the foothills of Sierra de San Juan. The medium-roasted blend is described through dark-chocolate flavor and a gently sweet, lemon-like finish. Its name means respect in Haitian Creole.

A blend connecting two origins
Haiti Coffee presents Respè as a tribute to the relationship between Haiti and Mexico. The coffee itself brings together beans from smaller farming communities in the two countries, giving the blend a more specific identity than a general regional label.
Exploring the chocolate and citrus balance
For a first filter brew, try 20 grams of coffee with 320 grams of water, then adjust to suit your brewer. Taste a few sips as the coffee cools and notice whether chocolate or lemon is more prominent. If the citrus feels too sharp, a small increase in extraction is worth testing before adding sweetener.
A cold-brew preparation offers another way to compare the same coffee. Use a grind intended for immersion, keep the steeping recipe consistent, and adjust the final dilution separately from the brewing process.
