Note about water hardness
Using hard water will ruin your espresso machine. Soft water no higher than 50ppm is required to keep your espresso machine running for the long term. Using hard water will void the warranty.

As a beginner, I was wanting a grinder that will stop my itch from constant upgrades until I purchase my end game set up. What I need right now is something to practice with and this was perfect. Dialing my espresso with DF54 has been a delight. I feel like Iโm getting the most out of my bean's flavors. Itโs sturdy, easy to clean, straightforward. There was some frustration with queueing up for the preorder but it was worth it. Iโm glad iโm not telling myself, โI wish I got that other grinder.โ. I will be using this for a long time until I get my La Marzocco. For the meantime, Iโm happy to pair it with my Breville Bambino Plus.
