The opv valve (valve at bottom of machine) relieves pressure to protect the boiler and releases excess water so the pressure is not reached. Well this valve is faulty and releasing 2 bar under the factory setting. Essentially I have to change the water pan after about 5 shots because it’s full. Reached out for support and was told I’m grinding wrong. Well I used a gauge to test and behold that valve is releasing far under set pressure. It’s either faulty or had been adjusted previously (machine was customer return). The company is saying I need to pay shipping to ship back their faulty machine. And I am lucky because they usually don’t do returns. I will be making my purchases elsewhere. You have been warned!
Customer is demanding that we take a return for a product which we did not sell him, for a product that is factory set. Have spent many hours with this customer. Customer refuses to give appropriate name, email, or order number. We cannot take a return for a product which we did not sell. Not sure where the disconnect is. Have recommended to contact where they purchased.
Wow am I impressed with this grinder. Tremendous machine for the price. I upgraded over what I had and this is a massive improvement. Nicely done Turin. Quality product and highly recommended.
I use it only for espresso and it’s performed flawlessly, it throws to within, .3g 15g in 14.7out is the the greatest difference I’ve ever found generally it’s within .1 or right on. A silver colored cup would be better than the black so that you can see how much coffee is still stuck inside after after transporting into the Portafilter transferring into the Portafilter.
